This thought crossed my mind today as I was contemplating on my impact so far on changing the way financial decisions are made
The next minute I stopped myself from further developing this narrative
I was quick to recognize that this is just another expression of my tendency to think and act independently.
I'm habitually a lonely thinker which makes me inclined to see many processes as a one-man job.
("We see the world not as it is but as we are")
The power comes from recognizing these habits of thought and be quick in questioning them
I asked myself:
Who specifically says this?
Do I know persons who weren't alone on their road to success?
Do I know persons who can help me on my road?
What junctures are on these road? Who can I meet there?
What am I presuming when I think of success in this way?
What am I seeking in thinking in this way? How can I achieve the same while building on relationships?
These and other questions helped me fill a few good pages with ideas, resources and thoughts that shifted me into a resourceful and impactful state.
Yet the starting point was to recognize the pattern in that thought. It was almost instantaneous cause through my training i became conscious of these unconscious patterns.
What patterns do you recognize in your thinking? your decisions?
Would it help to get some help in recognizing more of them?
