"Uncertainty is a relationship between an individual and the outside world."
I wish I would have come up with this definition.
This is a definition given by Spiegelhater, statistician and author of "Art of uncertainty".
To see someone with such a profound understanding of numbers give this definition is, for me, heartwarming.
It aligns with the message I put across in my workshop regarding decision making under uncertainty.
It reflects the power we have in such contexts because being part of this relationship gives us choices.
I am happy I can pass along tools for taking ownership of the role we have in this relationship and strategies for seeing the best options in spite of uncertainty.
